Net metering & export credits
Full-retail 1:1 net metering (Oregon). Exports are credited 1:1 at retail for residential systems up to 25 kW; credits roll over monthly and are trued up each March — leftover credits go to low-income assistance, not to the customer.
Electricity rates
OR residential average ~13¢/kWh (EIA 2026); PGE near the state average.
What this means for solar
- PGE’s Smart Battery Pilot pays bill credits for dispatchable home batteries.
- Energy Trust of Oregon incentives lower the installed cost for PGE customers.
